4. Baking Soda:
This is a simple but very effective home remedy for canker sores. It provides you relief with its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
- Make a paste of baking soda by adding little water to it and apply it on the sores.
- After a few days you will see the symptoms vanished.
- Baking soda aloes helps in restoring the pH balance of the mouth.
5. Aloe Vera:
Aloe vera is one of the effective natural remedies for treating canker sores. The, healing and antibacterial properties in aloe vera helps to reduce pain and inflammation and anti-inflammatory. It also helps accelerate the healing process.
6. Tea Bags:
Used tea bags can be washed and chilled to be used in treating the canker sores due to the presence of tannin in tea which is known to help in lessening of pain and inflammation caused by these sores. There is no limit to the number of times these tea bags can be used in order to treat the canker sores.
7. Coconut Oil:
Using a cotton swab, dab a liberal amount of coconut oil onto the sore. Try to get a pretty thick layer over the sore. If you feel like you can’t get it to stick melt some down with a little beeswax to thicken it.
