How To Get Rid of Stretch Marks Naturally Fast

Stretch marks are narrow lines or which develop on the epidermis due to sudden changes in the body size. Stretch marks are a form of skin scarring, which arises during puberty and pregnancy. The formation of unsightly stretch marks is influenced by numerous factors including hormonal changes and sudden weight gain.


Stretch marks start off as reddish or purple colored striations, which gradually fades away to a silvery or off white hue. Although stretch marks can appear on any part of the body, these thin skin striations mostly appear on the stomach, thighs, hips and buttocks. Fortunately there are numerous home remedies to fade out stretch marks.

1. Baking Soda And Lemon Juice:

This is a very unusual remedy for stretch marks. Lemon has got a natural property of stretch mark discoloring and Baking soda is a powerful medical tool for skin issues.


How: Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with the juice of 1 lemon in a small bowl. Apply it on the affected areas and wrap it with a plastic bag. Keep it this way for half an hour and then wash it off with normal water. You can notice the slight minimization after the first attempt itself. Continue doing it for a few days and get a skin sans stretch marks. You need to adopt this remedy once a day for initial two weeks and later on alternate days.

2. Egg White:


Take an egg and separate the yolk from the egg white. Whip it a little. Apply it over the stretch marks 2-3 times a day using a make-up brush. Wash off after 15 minutes. The protein and vitamins contained in egg white fades the stretch marks enormously.

3. Cocoa Butter:


Apply creams rich in cocoa butter at least twice a day. It is a great hydrating agent that helps get rid of the stretch marks.Alternatively, take ½ cup of cocoa powder, 1 tbsp of wheat germ oil, 2 tbsp of grated bees wax, 1 tbsp of apricot kernel oil and few drops of vitamin E oil. Heat this mixture until the beeswax melts and then apply it to the affected area after it cools, three times a day.

4. Sugar:

Use a tablespoon of raw sugar with some quantity of almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply this mixture by rubbing it on the stretch marks and wait for about ten minutes. This will lighten them in a matter of a few months.
